Cancellation & Refund Policy

1. Overview

At OneDay Makeup, we understand that plans can change. Our cancellation and refund policy is designed to be fair for both our valued clients and our professional artists who dedicate their time and expertise to each appointment. Please review the following guidelines carefully when making or cancelling a booking.

2. Service Booking Cancellation

The following cancellation terms apply to all beauty service bookings (makeup, hair styling, facial treatments, nail art, and photography):

24+ hours before appointment

Free cancellation or rescheduling — full refund of any deposit paid.

Within 24 hours of appointment

A cancellation fee of 50% of the service price will be charged. The remaining 50% will be refunded.

No-show

Failure to attend your appointment without prior notice will result in a full charge — no refund will be issued.

3. Dress Rental Cancellation

Dress rental bookings have a separate cancellation policy due to the nature of inventory reservation:

72+ hours before rental start date

Full deposit refund. The rental fee (if pre-paid) will also be refunded in full.

Within 72 hours of rental start date

50% of the deposit will be retained as a cancellation fee. The remaining deposit and any pre-paid rental fee will be refunded.

After rental pickup

No refund on the rental fee. The security deposit will be returned upon undamaged return of the dress.

4. Off-Site Service Cancellation

Off-site bookings (weddings, events, and on-location photoshoots) require at least 48 hours' advance notice for cancellation or rescheduling. This extended notice period reflects the additional preparation, travel arrangements, and equipment logistics involved. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours' notice will incur a fee of 50% of the total quoted price. For bridal and large event bookings, a non-refundable booking fee may apply — this will be clearly communicated at the time of booking confirmation.

5. Refund Processing

All approved refunds will be processed within 7–14 business days via the original payment method. PromptPay refunds are typically processed within 3–5 business days, credit card refunds may take up to 14 business days depending on your card issuer, and WeChat Pay refunds are processed within 7–10 business days. You will receive a confirmation via email or LINE once the refund has been initiated.

6. How to Cancel

You can cancel or reschedule your booking through any of the following channels:

  • LINE: Send a message to our official LINE account with your booking reference number.
  • Phone: Call any of our branches during operating hours (Mon–Sun, 10:00–20:00).
  • Email: Send your cancellation request to booking@oneday.co.th.

Please include your booking reference number, the name under the booking, and the reason for cancellation. We will confirm the cancellation and any applicable refund within 1 business day.

7. Exceptions

We understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise. The following situations will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis, and cancellation fees may be waived:

  • Medical emergencies: With supporting documentation (medical certificate or hospital records).
  • Natural disasters: Severe weather events, floods, or other force majeure circumstances that prevent safe travel.
  • Government-mandated closures: If our branches are required to close due to official orders.

To request an exception, please contact us as soon as possible with relevant supporting documentation. Our team will review your case and respond within 2 business days.
